Emory Global Health Case Study Competition

Last October, I received an email from someone at the Center for Global Health who encouraged me to consider applying for the university’s 6-person Global Health Case Study team. I pulled together an application, and ended up joining two other undergraduates, an MPH candidate, a business student, and a future doctor on the team.

From March 21-24, we’ll be in Atlanta competing in Emory University’s annual competition. Past case studies have ranged from refugees in East Africa to tobacco use in India to severe malnutrition in Ethiopia. Who knows what this year’s case will be?

We’ve been preparing for the last couple of months, going through old case studies and giving practice presentations. Let’s hope we make it to the final round this year! (And at least it won’t be snowing in Atlanta).
